Biore Products!

A few weeks ago I was at Kmart and they were having a really good sale on Biore skincare products. I have never tried them before but the sale was so enticing that I really couldn't pass it up. If I recall correctly it might have been 2 products for $8.00 which is astonishing! Seeing as one product usually retails around $5.00 to $15.00. So therefore I of course picked up two! I was having a hard time choosing because there was such an array of products. I was truly considering getting a pack of the Biore Pore Strips but decided against it at the time, because I thought I would read some reviews about them(If you have a review or know about the product put the link below or tell me in the comments) After, I swear 20 minutes of actually sitting on the floor at Kmart with the products and reading about them I decided on two.

Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub $7.99 General Stores, Drugstores
This minty green scrub is like magic in a tube! It exfoliates your skin and allows your pores to breath easier. It eliminates all the dirt  oil off of your face so that you are left with a nice tingling clean sensation. What really made me buy this product was that it said on the back that it was supposed to work better than Proactive! Now, I have never tried Proactive before because my skin doesn't require that kind of product but when I saw that this was similar/better/dupe or Proactive I had to give it a try! I can honestly say that I believe that this would be perfect for people who have problematic skin. But to wrap this review up I would have to say that I love this product so far and would recommend it for all skin types. I tend to have oily combination skin and I use this every night and I know that some scrubs tend to dry your skin out but this one doesn't!

Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser $6.00-$10.00 General Stores, Drugstores
Words can not express how much I love this product!!! I like to use this in the morning instead of my Clean and Clear Morning Burst just because the icy cold, tingling sensation makes my skin feel so good and really helps wake me up! I also love that it is gentle and not skin irritating that I can use it in the morning! I really hate to use products in the morning that might bother my skin or any acne that I have making it red or even bigger. I tend to use gentle products in the morning to help sooth my skin so my blemishes are easier to cover. This product not only leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean but it really does help get rid of acne and even out your skin tone. I really have noticed my skin tone and my breakouts getting better and reducing! I am guessing it must be these Biore miracle workers!

All I can say is that I am in love with these two products!! I really want to try out more Biore but I want to know what products are worth getting so  if you are Biore fan like me tell me which ones are your favorites or if there are some you don't like let me know!

Beauty Tips for Healthy Skin

Makeup  can help cover up unwanted areas and help enhance your beauty. But, the best thing to help your face look healthier and better and to be able to feel good about yourself is having good skin! I know that I always feel better about myself when my skin is clear and I only have to wear light foundation. So here are some tips to help your skin be healthy and flawless!

Tips***

1. Find out what your skin type is. Your skin could be a combination of things or just one. There are many different types of skin types that range from dry, normal, and oily. Once you find out what your skin type is make sure that you are buying the right products for your skin types and make sure your read the packaging to be positive it is right for your skin.

2. If you are out between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. use a face lotion that has SPF within it to protect your skin from sun damage.

3. Limit the time you spend taking a hot shower! The steam from the hot shower can take away natural oils that your skin needs.

4. Exfoliate at least 1-2 times per week to remover dead skin and help keep your skin bright and healthy. Also try and do a moisturizing masque to help keep your skin firm and hydrated. Use another masque at least once a week to help detoxify your skin.  I like to use Neutrogena Scrubs (look at my neutrogena products posthttp://fashionaffair08.blogspot.com/2011/02/neutrogena-products.html) I also like to use Queen Helene Products to moisturize and detoxify my skin. Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque for removing oils and detoxifying.

5. Use a toner after you cleanse your face day and night! This helps even out your skin tone and also remove any residue left on your face. I use Neutrogena Pore Refining Toner

6. Don't! Pop Pimples! It leaves scars and if your hands are not clean when you do it can make your acne worse.

7. If you wear glasses or sunglasses makes sure to keep them clean so that you don't keep putting dirts and oils onto your face.

8. After washing your face don't rub your face dry with a wash cloth. Always pat dry so that you don't remove any natural oils or irritate the skin.




9. Also make sure to change your pillow case once or twice a week.

Clean and Clear Morning Burst Scrub

 

 I know this product has been out for a while but I just got into it and I think it is really really wonderful! I like to use this on days when I am just going to be staying in and not going anywhere like a sundays which I dedicate to school work. The first time I used this I really did not expect much from it. I don't know why but I thought that it was just like  an ordinary skin cleanser. But it totally blew me away with the quality of the product! First the scent totally does wake you up and not in a harsh bad way but in a good way it smells like citrus. The the scrub is very gentle for the morning that it does not irritate your skin.

The best thing about this product is the final finish! My face felt so soft and smooth after using this I was so amazed . I don't know what this really does for acne and breakouts but it does leave your face feeling fresh and awakened. I would really recommend this product if you love the feeling of a fresh face!

Impressive Products for Uneven Skin and Acne Marks

One thing that I really hate about acne is that even after you get rid of it it can still sometimes leave marks and make your skin look uneven. I have found several products that have been evening out my skin-tone and fading my Acne marks.

  Neutrogena Acne Mark Fade and Peel
First of all this product works really well and even better if you have acne marks scattered across your face. I use it every other day after I have cleaned my face and before I use my evening toner. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and rinse it off, simple enough and it starts working within the first few uses. The odd thing is that its not actually a peel which I thought it would be but it works great to help fade acne marks and prevent ones from developing.

Clean&Clear Acne Mark Treatment
I use this as a spot treatment for if I notice that I have a pimple and I can tell that it will leave a mark or scar behind. The great thing about this product is that not only does it help fade your acne marks but it also eliminates pimples. I would be aware that I did notice that this can dry the skin, So I would only use it once a day or even every other day for sensitive skin. All in all, this a great product.

Neutrogena Visibly Even SPF 15 Moisturizer
This is a great moisturizer for your skin that helps fade your acne marks throughout the day and even your skin tone. I personally don't use this in the morning because it is a pretty heavy moisturizer and I have oily skin so I use it at night every other day. If you don't have oily skin I would advise you to use it in the morning and you get sun protection.

Neutrogena 2-in-1 Fight and Fade Gel
This is very similar to the Clean&Clear Acne Mark Treatment except I find this to be much gentler on the skin. I usually put this on a pimple that tends to be irritated and this helps to with the irritation and fade an acne mark.
