Wet n Wild Color Icon

I have been dying to tryout some Wet n Wild products so when I noticed that they were on sale I of course had to get a few things! Its about time that I finally try some of the Wet n Wild brand as I have been reading on many of yours and other bloggers blog about how great the colors were so I was really excited to tryout this brand myself! When I saw the products I thought I would pick some from their newer collection Color Icon. I got a couple of items that I must agree with those who have tried out Wet n Wild and loved the product.

Knock on Wood $2.99 General Stores, Drugstores
These eye shadows instantly became my new love! The eyelid color looks great with my skin tone and is a pretty spring color that makes me look and feel really pretty! It is also a dark marron with hints of pink undertones that make it easily worn for a day look. Secondly I love the crease color being a nice dark deep brown that paired with the maroon eyelid color looks stunning and really fits the name Knock on wood because it does remind me of dark forest/woods colors! The third amazing thing that did shock me even though I had already read about how amazingly pigmented the colors were was the pigmentation. The colors are truly really pigmented and it shocked me because the product was so inexpensive!

Although, I really do like this product I will have to be honest and say that the eye shadows can be a little powdery but its not to bad but it was something that I noticed. One thing that I didn't like about the eye shadows was that all of the colors are shimmery or have flecks of sparkles in them. I personally like to mix matte eye shadows with shimmery ones. I like having a matte crease color over a shimmery one but even still the product is still amazing and I will be purchasing another trio!

I was really interested in trying out different color eyeliners other than black or brown. Since I was getting other Wet n Wild products I thought I would tryout a few of theirs because the products were so inexpensive that if I tried one out and didn't like it I wouldn't lose to much money.

First I thought i would get a nice deep purple/maroon eyeliner to go along with the Knock on Wood Trio. But this wasn't the right color to go with the trio but still really pretty

I also brought out the Wet n Wild Eyeliner in Green because I thought for spring and summer it would cool to do a simple eye with this pop of green on the lower lashline! Anyone else plan on doing something similar?

What are your favorite Wet n Wild Products?

Just like any other part of your body, dead skin cells build up on the skin and can cause the skin to look dry. Also if you work with your hands a lot you can build calluses on your hand. The first step to getting beautiful hands is to exfoliate the skin. To remove all of the dry skin to reveal the healthier skin underneath it. A good and inexpensive way to exfoliate your hands is to mix sugar, lemon juice and a cream together and rub it into your hands till the sugar dissolves. You can do this 2-3 times a week. You can also find hand scrubs at beauty stores.

Always moisturize your hands after washing them or if the appear to dry. Keeping your hands moisturized will keep them from appearing dry and will also keep them feeling soft to the touch. It would be a good idea to invest in a lotion that is made just for hands.

This is the perfect hand lotion that helps both your hands and cuticle!

3. Washing
As you were told when you were younger washing your hands is essential to your healthy and cleanness of your hands. Although you should be careful to avoid soaps that are drying to the skin and take away your natural oils. Try to buy soaps that add moisture to your skin, the moisture your skin has the softer they will be!

4. Massage
Increase the circulation in your hands by giving them a quick massage every night. This will help them appear more healthy and have the right color tone.

5. Super Soft Hands
For really soft hands try applying a heavy cream or Vaseline to your hands and putting them in cotton gloves at night. This will help seal in the moisture which will give you amazingly soft hands.

6. When doing housework or doing the dishes wear gloves to protect your hands from harsh chemicals and over drying.

Favorite Teals

This spring I have been loving the color Teal/Turquoise! It is such a unique and pretty vibrant spring color I just love to mix it into my wardrobe with pieces of teal clothing or even just pops of teal with accessories. These are just a few of my favorite teal pieces this spring!

Knitted Sweater Cardigan $8.99 Forever21.com
This dark teal knitted sweater is a favorite mainly because of its beautiful flowy shape. This is perfect for spring because you want to look light and spirited and this shape gives off that essence. It is also perfect for those rather chilly spring evenings.
Fit to be Teal Dress $47.99 Modcloth.com
Simple but gorgeous. That is exactly what this dress is. With the right pair of shoes and some simple earrings this dress is very daring because of the color! What I am really loving about the dark teal shades is that they are still quite spring but at the same time still wearable by people who prefer darker shades rather then vibrant bright colors.

Fringed Scarf $4.50 Forver21.com Since winter I have truly been loving scarfs. I just love to add them to any basic outfit for either a pop of color or just something to make an outfit look put together. As spring is progressing I am still wearing scarfs and loving being able to use a scarf a bright pop of color, seeing as I am not that big of fan of wear super bright colors. A nice brightly colored scarf does the trick for me:)!
Tights for Every Occasion in Saturday Soiree $14.99 Modcloth.com
Black tights are cute but teal tights are fabulous! Brighten up your wardrobe by adding black tights that can be used in the color blocking trend or how I plan to wear them. By wearing some neutral colors then adding some brightly colored teal tights for something unique and different.
SENSE Cutout Platforms $145.00 Topshop.com
Bold shoes are definitely a trend to lookout for this spring and summer seasons. So make sure you join the trend and get you a pair of teal heels that will make you look bold and daring.

Leather Ruched Twist Purse $32.00 Topshop.com

Not a big ran of wearing teal but love the color?! Well you don't have to wear just carry it by your side. Even adding a little accessory like a purse with the color teal will make you feel more spring fashion forward!

Desert Princess Necklace $7.80 Forever21.com
This is a slight touch of teal mixed in with some bronze chains and teal feathers. This necklace will add that little bit of something that makes a huge difference to your outfit that will have everyone noticing.

Are feeling teal this spring or are you into other colors? Also what are some really good teal nail polishes? I was going through my nail polish collection and I noticed I don't have one teal nail polish! Sad I know, so tell me your favorites so I can buy some!!

Biore Products!

A few weeks ago I was at Kmart and they were having a really good sale on Biore skincare products. I have never tried them before but the sale was so enticing that I really couldn't pass it up. If I recall correctly it might have been 2 products for $8.00 which is astonishing! Seeing as one product usually retails around $5.00 to $15.00. So therefore I of course picked up two! I was having a hard time choosing because there was such an array of products. I was truly considering getting a pack of the Biore Pore Strips but decided against it at the time, because I thought I would read some reviews about them(If you have a review or know about the product put the link below or tell me in the comments) After, I swear 20 minutes of actually sitting on the floor at Kmart with the products and reading about them I decided on two.
Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub $7.99 General Stores, Drugstores
This minty green scrub is like magic in a tube! It exfoliates your skin and allows your pores to breath easier. It eliminates all the dirt  oil off of your face so that you are left with a nice tingling clean sensation. What really made me buy this product was that it said on the back that it was supposed to work better than Proactive! Now, I have never tried Proactive before because my skin doesn't require that kind of product but when I saw that this was similar/better/dupe or Proactive I had to give it a try! I can honestly say that I believe that this would be perfect for people who have problematic skin. But to wrap this review up I would have to say that I love this product so far and would recommend it for all skin types. I tend to have oily combination skin and I use this every night and I know that some scrubs tend to dry your skin out but this one doesn't!

Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser $6.00-$10.00 General Stores, Drugstores
Words can not express how much I love this product!!! I like to use this in the morning instead of my Clean and Clear Morning Burst just because the icy cold, tingling sensation makes my skin feel so good and really helps wake me up! I also love that it is gentle and not skin irritating that I can use it in the morning! I really hate to use products in the morning that might bother my skin or any acne that I have making it red or even bigger. I tend to use gentle products in the morning to help sooth my skin so my blemishes are easier to cover. This product not only leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean but it really does help get rid of acne and even out your skin tone. I really have noticed my skin tone and my breakouts getting better and reducing! I am guessing it must be these Biore miracle workers!

All I can say is that I am in love with these two products!! I really want to try out more Biore but I want to know what products are worth getting so  if you are Biore fan like me tell me which ones are your favorites or if there are some you don't like let me know!

P.S. Vote in the Poll:) As always:)

Beauty Tips for Smooth Legs

Since spring is here us ladies will most likely be showing off our legs a lot more. Wearing our favorite Skirts, Shorts and dresses that will make our legs look fabulous! But, for our legs to be fabulous we must begin the hassle of removing hair from our legs... There are many ways in which this can be done through shaving, creams, waxes and lasers but I am mainly going to focus on shaving as that is what most females do anyway. I know that I think that shaving is a hassle and I try to make sure that keep my legs hairless and smooth for as long as possible before I must undergo the process of shaving again. Throughout my years of shaving I have come across some tips to make your legs look great and how to the most out of shaving for as long as possible. Here are just some tips to keep your legs looking toned, smooth and beautiful!

Tips***
1. Tone
Before you even start the process of shaving get your legs toned up for the spring and summer months! Work out your leg muscles by doing leg exercises like planks or simply just going for a long walk to help tone your muscles!

2. Exfoliate
Your legs are one of the driest places on your body and therefore they usually have a lot of dry dead skin cells on top of your skin. The best way to remove them is to exfoliate your skin with a good body wash that has exfoliate within in it. Removing the dead cells will allow your to get a closer and better shave.
Dead Sea Cosmetics Passion Exfoliate $13.00 Online

3. Shaving Cream and Gel
Now, I know that some of my friends use regular bar soap to shave their legs and this is a big NO! Regular bar soap does not have the proper moisture to protect your skin from the harshness of a razor and also does not add any moisture to your skin and sometimes removes the need oils from your skin. Always use s shaving cream or gel. These products add moisture and create a barrier from your skin and from the razor. This way you won't have cuts from the razor. The creams and gels also provide moisture to help keep your skin smooth and not dry or flaky. I use Skintimate
Skintimate Frosted Velvet $2-$4 General Stores, Drugstores

4. Razor
I never noticed if one brand of razors are better than others but I do know that the more blades the better and smoother shave you will get! Also to change your razor or your razor blades after 3 uses at the most. Dull blades can cause you to cut yourself and not get a clean shave. I prefer the Schick Quattro Trimstyle for women.
Schick Quattro Trimstyle $12-$14 Drugstores, General Stores

5. Lotion
After you shave your legs and at least twice a day you want to make sure that you moisturize your legs with a good lotion. If your like me and don't like to shave your legs you are going to want to try Jergens Naturally Smooth which a shave minimizing lotion that works to help slow down the speed of your hair growth on your legs so that you don't have to shave as much! I have yet to try this because I just found out about when I told my friend about this post. I will be purchasing it and doing a review for you all!

6. Steps
When you first get in the shower you are going to want to do your normal shower routine and exfoliate your body and legs. After allowing the warm water to soften the hairs you are going to want to apply the shaving gel and shave your legs. You wan to make sure that you use upward motions in clean strokes from your ankle up. Take your time don't rush and cut yourself. Then pat dry your body so that you do not remove the natural oils in your skin and apply your lotion.

Hopefully these tips help you out on your journey for smooth legs! Let me know what products you use or what tips you have!

Poll is up, so voteee!

Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Lip Glosses

Lately, I have been really loving lip products more than normal! So, of course I am going to share them with you all. One of my all time favorite lip glosses  are the Victoria Secret Beauty Rush lip glosses they are simply amazing! Although I will add that they are a bit sticky but who can complain when they smell like heaven and even though your not supposed to taste like it too! The colors are also dreamy as well and leave your lips with an shocking color tint! Anyway before I go on ranting about them I thought I would share one of my go to favorite lip gloss and a new favorite that I recently have been addicted to for the last few weeks!
Red Delicious $7.99 Victoria Secret
This lip gloss is no doubt one of my favorite lip glosses of all and I have been using several tubes of it since like a year and half ago! The lip gloss smells just like a sweet apple and the odd thing is I am not even a apple eater but I love the smell of this! It also gives your lips a coral red tint with flecks of gold undertones! Like I mentioned before the only bad thing about this and all VS lip glosses is that they are a little sticky but it does not keep me from buying them. I also like the packaging even though it is simple I like the fact that I can see that I am getting a full tube of product.
I Want Candy $7.99 Victoria Secret
This precious pink lip gloss is my new hidden wonder! I have had this lip gloss for a few weeks now as I picked it up when I got some other lip glosses in the 2 for 12 sale. It was recently when I wanted a light lip shade that I picked up this pinky little tube and was instantly shocked by how much I liked it! It leaves your lips with a glossy light sheer shade of pink and I absolutely adore the effect it leaves on your lips! As always with all VS lip glosses the scent is simply lovely and reminds me a candy store! It is such a sweet scent!

These are just two of my favorites! Tell me what are your favorite VS Lip Glosses and take the time to vote in the poll!

Shower Essentials

Something I rarely read or see about is what people use in the shower. Its odd piece of information to share but I think it would be quite interesting to know and see reviews about shower products. That is basically the reason behind this post. There are so many different shower products from shower gels, loofahs to lotions and I only know of a few of the products. So make sure you leave comments about what your favorite products are or what interesting products you use in the shower.
Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash $5-$6 Drugstores and General Stores
This smells amazing! It is made with burnt brown sugar and karite butter. It smells sweet, creamy and delicious! Not only does it hydrate your skin but it also exfoliates to remove all those dead skin cell to reveal beautiful skin. The ingredients within the product also as mentioned by the name work to even out your skin tone. I think that this is an overall plus because with one product you can do so much with your skin and smell great at the same time. This has been one of my favorites for almost over year! It is definitely a by go to body wash.
Loofah's $0.50-$1.00 Dollar Stores, Drugstores, General Stores
I personally don't like to use a wash cloth to cleanse by body. I prefer a brightly colored loofah! Loofahs are very inexpensive and work well to remove dirt and oil from your body. The net material also helps to exfoliate your skin and remove dry skin. The colors range is huge you can just about find any color you want and even ones with glitter and metallic colors.
Loofah Sticks $1.00-$2.00 Dollar Store, Drug Store, General Store
This is my second favorite loofah product the Loofah Stick. These are used to get those hard to reach areas like your back. Yet, again I love to choose bright colors that make washing up fun and festive. Just like the Loofah these are inexpensive and a steal because they work really well for cleaning your body.
Schick Quattro Women Trimstyle $11.00 Drugstores and General Stores
This little shaver does wonders! The Trimstyle is quite the duo, it a razor on one end for shaving your legs and armpits and then the other end is a bikini trimmer. It only takes 1 little battery that comes with it to power it and you can trim and shave all hairs on your body. I love this and it is the only shaver that I use. The razor end uses a four razor blade head to ensure that it is removing all the hairs in a efficient way. The trimmer end is adjustable so that you can change the head to the length of hair you would like to remove.
Skintimate Moisturizing Cream Shave Frosted Velvet $2-$6 Drugstores, General Stores
What I truly like about this product is that it really does moisturize your skin so that your skin is not left dry or flaky like some shaving creams leave the skin feeling.
Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Lotion $6-$12 Drugstore, General Store
This is one of the best deep conditioning body lotions that I have ever used. It is a thick cream feeling lotion but once you rub it into your skin it feels light and soft. It protects and gets rid of any dry skin. It also helps to even out your skin tone! It also has the nice cocoa butter smell!

These are all the items I use to take a shower minus face and hair products of course. Let me know if you would like me to do a post on those.

If you have used any of these products let me know or if you know of some other great shower essentials! and make sure to vote in the poll!
